People who ask for a Jarvis are usually asking for one specific thing: something that does the work, tells you when it is done, and lets you answer out loud.
What people mean when they say it
Not the accent, and not the holograms. Watch what Tony Stark actually does and it is three things: he asks for something in plain speech, he walks away, and it tells him when it needs him. The rest is set dressing.
The first of those three arrived properly in 2025. Coding agents do real work now, unsupervised, for minutes at a stretch. What they did not arrive with is the third one: a way to tell you.
What is honestly possible today
A voice assistant that controls your whole Mac, understands anything you say and acts on it, does not exist and is not close. What does exist is narrower and more useful than it sounds: an agent that already does the work, with speech on the front of it.
That is what Cyan Voice is. It gives Claude Code a voice and an ear. It speaks when work finishes, asks before anything risky runs, takes your next instruction by voice, and tells you each morning what happened yesterday.

- Control apps that are not Claude Code. It is not a Mac-wide assistant and does not pretend to be.

The voice, if you want the accent
There is a Jarvis persona in the app, and it is the default. It says "sir", it is brief, and it reports rather than chats. There are others if that is not for you, including one that is entirely plain.
On the name. Jarvis is a fictional character owned by Marvel. Cyan Voice is not connected to Marvel or to Disney, and the word is used here only because it is the one people reach for when they describe what they want.
Common questions
Is there a real Jarvis for Mac?
Not in the sense of a general assistant that controls your whole machine. What exists is narrower: agents that do specific work, with voice on the front. Cyan Voice does that for Claude Code.
Does it have a Jarvis voice?
